Cons
Dry food is rich in carbohydrates and lacks protein. This can cause week muscular structure and diabetes. It is hard to digest and lead to obesity. Wild cats receive most of the moisture from their moist food. Wet food can provide the necessary moisture to your cat. Wet food has more flavour and scent to it which appeals to the palate of cats. Cons
Wet food can be a little messy to handle and will take excess effort to wash dishes. It is difficult to transport in large quantities. It doesn’t stay fresh for long and requires certain preparation.
